Zeb Wells is a writer for the Emmy Award-winning animated series Robot Chicken and co-creator of the stop-motion SuperMansion. He began his career at Marvel with the New Warriors limited series, which inspired key story threads in Civil War. He also wrote the Civil War: Young Avengers & Runaways tie-in. His collaboration with Seth Fisher on Fantastic Four/Iron Man: Big in Japan is considered a modern comic gem.

Wells’ other credits include Daredevil: Battlin’ Jack Murdock, Venom: Dark Origin, Dark Reign: Elektra, and Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Year One. He contributed to the “Brand New Day” era of Amazing Spider-Man, notably the “Shed” storyline, wrote two Carnage limited series, and helped relaunch New Mutants. Wells has returned to Amazing Spider-Man with artist John Romita Jr. for a new volume.

Al Ewing began his career on the British anthology 2000 AD. His American comics work includes Jennifer Blood and its spin-off The Ninjettes for Dynamite Entertainment, and Avengers Assemble tie-ins for Marvel Comics. Ewing’s novels include the Pax Britannia series and The Fictional Man.

With Greg Land, he relaunched Marvel’s Mighty Avengers and wrote Loki: Agent of Asgard for All-New Marvel NOW!. Ewing then revamped New Avengers and Ultimates, debuted U.S. Avengers, and joined the writing team for the Avengers “No Surrender” storyline. His subsequent titles include Valkyrie, Guardians of the Galaxy, Defenders, the event series Empyre, and the critically acclaimed Immortal Hulk. Ewing has also made his mark on the Krakoan era of X-Men comics with S.W.O.R.D. and X-Men: Red.

Gerry Duggan is one of Marvel’s most influential writers, known for his lengthy and surprising Deadpool run with Brian Posehn. Duggan’s solo credits include Nova, Hulk, and multiple Secret Wars tie-ins. He added Deadpool to the revamped Uncanny Avengers and brought his signature blend of action and humor to All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, leading up to the Infinity Wars event series. Marauders and Cable established him as a vital part of the “Dawn of X” era, a role he cemented with the launch of a new X-Men title. Duggan’s earlier collaboration with Phil Noto, The Infinite Horizon, earned an Eisner Award nomination for Best New Series.

Adam Kubert, son of industry pioneer Joe Kubert, has won numerous comics-industry awards, including an Eisner Award. His landmark runs on Wolverine and Incredible Hulk made him a superstar, leading to work on X-Men titles such as the Marvel Universe-changing Onslaught saga. His subsequent Marvel efforts include Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the sequel Origin II. Kubert contributed to the event series Avengers vs. X-Men, and his later work includes All-New, All-Different Avengers; Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man; and Captain America. In 2020, he returned to his signature character for the “Dawn of X” relaunch of Wolverine.

Ed McGuinness rose to prominence with his work on Harris Comics’ Vampirella and Marvel’s Deadpool. At Awesome Entertainment, he worked on a Fighting American revamp with Jeph Loeb, who became a longtime collaborator. After a short run on WildStorm’s Mr. Majestic, McGuinness moved to DC Comics for Superman and the launch of Superman/Batman with Loeb.

Returning to Marvel, McGuinness reunited with Loeb for Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America, Hulk, and Avengers: X-Sanction before launching Amazing X-Men with Jason Aaron. McGuinness has also reteamed with Joe Kelly for Spider-Man/Deadpool and with Aaron for a relaunch of Avengers.
