Professor Chan Wai Sum,Chinese University of Hong Kong, P.R. ChinaDr Chan is Professor (Actuarial Science) in the Department of Finance, theChinese University ofHong Kong. He has a PhD in Applied Statistics from Temple University and hasbeen aFellow of the Society of Actuaries since 1995. He has extensive experience inteachingactuarial and finance courses, and has published extensively in actuarial,statistics and financejournals. He has coauthored two books on personal injury tables of Hong Kong. Professor Tse Yiu Kuen,Singapore Management University, SingaporeDr Tse is Professor of Economics and Associate Dean of the School of Economicsand SocialSciences in the Singapore Management University. He has a PhD in Econometricsfrom theLondon School of Economics and has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuariessince 1993.He has published extensively in financial econometrics, statistics and pricingand applicationsof derivatives. He has taught in many executive programs in computationalfinance, financialengineering and wealth management. He has written a book entitled Know yourInterest: AGuide to Loans and Investment.
