About The Author
Valerie Denieul
Valerie is a Registered Children’s Nurse and Registered Nurse Teacher, with a clinical background in children’s high dependency nursing and children’s clinical trials. Valerie joined the University of Central Lancashire in 2016 as a lecturer in the School of Nursing, gaining a Post Graduate Certificate with Distinction in Health and Social Care Education in 2019. Valerie is currently working as a Student Coach, helping students to get the most out of their time at the university. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.Julia Robinson is a Registered Adult Nurse, a Registered Children’s Nurse and a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree (BN Hons) and is a non-medical prescriber. Julia has a clinical background in children’s surgical nursing and health visiting. She has also worked with the United Nations (UNHCR) as a volunteer nurse caring for Myanmar refugees in Malaysia.Julia joined the University of Central Lancashire in 2016 as a lecturer in children’s nursing and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
