Troy Nixey
Troy Nixey was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He has illustrated several works for notable creators, including:
- Batman: The Doom that Came to Gotham and Batman: The Gasworks for Mike Mignola
- Only the End of the World Again for Neil Gaiman (adapted by P. Craig Russell)
- Grendel: Black, White & Red for Matt Wagner
Troy co-created the comic mini-series Jenny Finn with Mike Mignola. He also created the comic Bacon and the critically acclaimed comic, Trout. Nixey contributed to Bart Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror #7 and Detective Comics #796. He worked with Andrew Cosby on the Dark Horse book Mary Scary in 2007.
Nixey also served as director for Guillermo Del Toro’s 2011 remake of Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.
