Summary
The Lojong slogans represent the quintessence of Buddhist practice for cultivating an awakened heart and a compassionate mind through meditation and contemplation. Traleg Kyabgon presents in his clear, uniquely charming and accessible style, a practical and in-depth means for understanding and implementing these classical teachings into our everyday life. All of the fifty-nine powerful slogans are addressed in this book, including “Don’t be swayed by external circumstances”, “Don’t be so predictable” and “Be grateful to everyone”. Readers can study the explanations and then reflect on those slogans that appeal to them, or challenge them, in different aspects of their lives.
