About The Author
Timothy Keller
Timothy and Kathy Keller grew up at opposite ends of Pennsylvania, but met through Kathy’s sister, who studied at Bucknell University with Tim. They knew of each other as leaders of Christian groups, but became friends at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and married at the start of their final semester. Tim’s first church was West Hopewell Presbyterian Church, in Virginia, where their three sons were born. After nine years in Hopewell, a degree at Westminster Theological Seminary, and a professorship, the Kellers moved to Manhattan in 1989 to start Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
