What They're Saying

Critics Review

“Documentary photographs and high-quality illustrations of many rarely exhibited works from private collections make this long overdue work essential for all art collections.” – Choice

‘Documentary photographs and high-quality illustrations of many rarely exhibited works from private collections make this long overdue work essential for all art collections.’ Choice ‘Richly illustrated and the first to fully explore the artist’s life and work, this important book is recommended for all libraries specializing in art and art history.’ Library Journal ‘… full of stunning colour reproductions of Carrington’s visionary art, whose hybrid forms borrow from nature, culture and religion in order to take themselves beyond all three. A beautiful book, and one that has had far too little attention.’ Ali Smith, The Sunday Telegraph
