With only 12% sight since birth - how was she to know that wasn’t normal? Born into a family with a blind mother, amputee brother and a sister with the same disease that caused Sue- Ellen’s total blindness; how’s that for a huge amount of feeling sorry for yourself?

Sue-Ellen really did raise $3.2 million dollars while sitting on her bottom! She raised money for various charities by doing long distance rides on horseback. How’s 54 days, 2,400km’s in the saddle from Cairns to the Gold Coast sound? Or 1,100 km’s from Melbourne to Sydney? She’s travelled over 16,000 kilometres. Along the way she’s spoken at functions in over 600 towns, and giving motivational, inspirational talks to thousands.

Sue-Ellen is NOT like everyone else. She is a rare gem in this world. She lives in total darkness yet the light she shines on so many lives, every day, is beyond measure.
