About The Author
Stuart Barker
Stuart Barker was born in Galloway, Scotland, and graduated from Strathclyde University in 1996. He began his career as a motorcycle journalist for Motor Cycle News. Since 2001, he has worked as a freelance writer, contributing to most of the major motorcycling publications. He also served as the editor of the Isle of Man TT programme for eight years.
He has authored nine books, including a bestselling biography of Barry Sheene and a biography of Evel Knievel, which is slated for a major Hollywood adaptation. His other works include biographies of Joey Dunlop, Valentino Rossi, and Marc Marquez, as well as Ragged Edge, a history of the Isle of Man TT. Stuart Barker resides in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
