Dr. Sophie Bakri, M.D., is a consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She specializes in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and complex retinal detachments.
As a professor of ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Dr. Bakri leads students in both clinical and translational research. Her work focuses on understanding and mitigating drug side effects for patients with retinal disease.
