Shannon Stocker
Shannon Stocker is an award-winning author and songwriter who loves hugs. She’s the author of the picture book Get a Hug; the Schneider Family Book Award–winning picture book Listen: How Evelyn Glennie, a Deaf Girl, Changed Percussion, illustrated by Devon Holzwarth; and the young adult book Stronger at the Seams, among others. She lives with her husband, Greg, and her children, Cassidy and Tye, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Lily Hoang-Zhu is an illustrator and designer whose work comes in all shapes and sizes for all sorts of things. You might know her as her moniker “liliuhms” across the worldwide web. She is based in sunny Denver, where she lives with her partner and always-hungry dog. Get a Hug is her first book for children.
