Critics Review
“This book is exactly what you need if you are running low on laughs, hope, and faith in mankind. Ryan’s family is the ideal of what this country could be, should be. They just love each other and understand the importance of moisturizing.”
—Wanda Sykes
“I’ve worked with Ryan for 12 years and always knew he was a hilarious writer, but this memoir blew me away. 12 Guys Walk Into a Kitchen is an inspiring, laugh-out-loud story about brotherhood, diversity, and the undeniable power of family.”
—Rob Dyrdek, Host, MTV’s Ridiculousness
“Ryan Conner is a great comedian and author. The story of his family is one I’ve known for decades. To finally read it in detail in book form is a must!”
—Rory Scovel, Comedian and Actor
“Ryan and I met in the casting room for a pilot called Fugly and the rest is herstory. He is a fantastic comedian and writer whose story has needed to be put on the page for way too long. 12 Guys Walk Into a Kitchen is a long overdue detailing of a comedy titan’s wild origin and it is a triumph. ”
—Chris Fleming, Comedian
“I’ve been watching Ryan perform onstage since I was 17 years old, and there’s always been something so captivating about his storytelling. So of course I wasn’t surprised that he published this great book about his family.”
—Jermaine Fowler, Comedian, Actor, and former roommate
