Ruth Starke
Ruth Starke began fiction writing in 1992, since then she has published many books for young people, including the award-winning THE TWIST IN THE TALE. She teaches English at Flinders University and creative writing at TAFE. She is a past Chair of the SA Writers Centre and has a keen interest in young people’s literature. She writes and reviews for AUSTRALIAN BOOK REVIEW and VIEWPOINT ON BOOKS FOR YOUNG ADULTS, and has been a Judge of the National Festival Awards for Children’s Literature since 1995.
