Dr. Gillie Bolton is an international authority on writing and the author of a substantial publication list, including nine books (one in its 4th edition), academic papers (many published in top-ranking journals), professional articles, poetry, and works for a lay readership. She has peer-reviewed for numerous journals and served as a long-standing editor for an academic and two professional journals.

Russell Delderfield has been involved in education for over thirty years. He initially worked in education in both France and Spain before training and working as a primary teacher. He later joined senior management in primary education, followed by a period as a teacher trainer. Most recently, he delivered researcher development at the University of Bradford, having completed his psychology PhD on male eating disorders. He currently manages training and development within a civil service setting. Reflective practice has been a consistent element of his professional life, influencing his reflexive approach to his own development and the training, coaching, and mentoring he provides to others.
