Robin Bennett thought he wanted to be a cavalry officer until everyone realized putting him in charge of a tank was a bad idea. He became an assistant gravedigger in London, then frantically started businesses, from dog-sitting to tuition to translation, until finally settling down to write improbable stories to keep his children from killing each other on long car journeys. Robin plays most sports. Poorly.

Matt Cherry grew up writing and drawing about monsters before being told to stop wasting pencils and get a job. He now lives on the Kent coast with his wife and two pet children where he still writes and draws everyday… only this time with a pen.
