Author Biography

Trent Kirkpatrick is an elementary science teacher who has been working in New York City public schools for more than a decade. In that time, he has received specialised training in STEM education, science pedagogy, Maker Space, Phenomenon-Based Science Inquiry and the Next Generation Science Standards. He was an educational consultant on DK's Science Squad/The STEAM Team.

Lord Robert Winston (foreword writer) is Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London. Robert is one of a kind - a world-renowned scientist, television presenter, and writer, who has combined groundbreaking academic work with an ability to communicate ideas and understanding to the general public.
