Summary
It’s all about cheating–the biggest threat to intimacy. Typically, men are good at creating rifts in relationships but terrible at mending them, especially after they’ve repeatedly betrayed their partner through sexual infidelity. Critics Review
Rob Weiss’s Out of the Doghouse provides long-needed, clear-cut insight and guidance for unfaithful men who wish to regain the trust of a betrayed female partner. In a no-nonsense way, Rob cuts through the overwhelming, but ultimately unproductive defensiveness that cheating men typically express when infidelity is first uncovered, helping them to gain insight into themselves and their life priorities. The book also helps these men gain empathy for the traumatic emotional challenges that infidelity brings to a loving spouse. Lastly, and most importantly the book provides cheating men with step-by-step directions toward healing the pain of intimate betrayal, while also giving them room to be certain of their next steps. Those men who take this book to heart can’t help but develop the integrity and open-heartedness required for long-term loving relationships. So basically, this book is a primer on how a man can save his relationship/marriage after cheating and grow emotionally at the same time. —Dan Griffin, MA Author of A Man’s Way Through Relationships
