About The Author

Robert Henry Thouless

Robert Thouless (1894-1984) was a psychologist. He served as Head of the Department of Psychology in Glasgow until 1938, and subsequently became Reader and Reader Emeritus at Cambridge. His areas of expertise included logic, rationality, and the investigation of paranormal phenomena. He authored numerous works in these fields.
