Critics Review

A really well written story with much to teach us … There are colour illustrations on every page, and the text is pitched at just the right level for children who are ready to start reading alone. * Parents in Touch *Readers will surely pore over it again and again. * The Irish Times *A story about two girls who, despite their differences, are the best of friends. A lovely story about friendship. * The Culture Whisper *Polly Ho-Yen beautifully explores the complexity of friendships and learning that there are always two sides of a story. Accompanied with gorgeous illustrations that capture the ups and downs of friendships, this is a wonderful story that highlights the importance of empathy and the art of listening and understanding others and their differences * BookTrust *This book is a really good choice for independent young readers… it is not too long and contains lovely full-colour illustrations. * Books Up North *This is a lovely story that gently tells of a common difficulty of falling out with friends… it perfectly shows ways to overcome differences and demonstrates how important it is to try and see things from other people’s point of view. – Abbie * LoveReading4Kids Reviewer *
