Pat Ware
Pat Ware is amongst the world’s foremost writers on historical military vehicles, with more than 60 titles to his name, together with a very large number of magazine articles. His work has been translated into a half-dozen languages, including Chinese, French German, and Polish.
In 2001, Pat was the founding editor of the UK’s leading military-vehicle magazine, ‘Classic Military Vehicle’, now into its 21st year, and continues to contribute to respected military-vehicle journals in the USA and France. He became well known for his arena appearances at the War & Peace Show and has also made the occasional TV appearance, notably including a 10-part series, ‘War on Wheels’, for China Central Television, in 2015.
Aside from a passion for military vehicles, his eclectic interests also include iconic agricultural tractors, he has contributed to various vintage tractor journals, writing particularly on the products of Ford and Ferguson.
