Analysis für Wirtschaftswissenschaftler

Analysis (Calculus in English) has a very bad reputation among students, pupils, and laypeople. This is often due to the extreme abstraction of concepts such as derivatives or integrals. With a combination of the history of analysis and mathematical development, I try to present analysis in a positive light, explaining the basics with the goal that when one picks up an analysis textbook, they will no longer be afraid. All explanations are focused on the application of analysis for economics. Leibniz and Newton, the fathers of modern analysis, and Euler, help us with this introduction to analysis through history.
