Otito’s Hairstory: A Celebration of Hair and Family Bonds

Growing up, my mom would either do my hair or take me and my sisters to the hair shop to get our hair done. When I was about 11 years old, I learned how to braid hair. So I started doing my sister’s hair. I loved how beautiful and shiny they looked when I finished their hair. I still do my sisters’ hair, my kids’ hair, and my nieces’ too. Some have long hair, short hair, or no hair! But they are all beautiful.
