Natasha Yim was born in Malaysia, grew up in Singapore and Hong Kong, and now lives in California. She is the author of many picture books, including Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas, The Rock Maiden, and Mulan’s New Year. Her favorite dim sum dish is egg tarts.
Violet Kim studied illustration at Rhode Island School of Design and now lives in Taiwan. She is the illustrator of If You’re Going to a March, The Little Gray Bunny, and Earth Day, Birthday! When she travels, she always seeks out restaurants where she can enjoy her favorite dim sum dish: fried shrimp dumplings.
