About The Author

M.R. Carey

Mike Carey is a comics writer, novelist, and screenwriter based in London. He is best known for his multiple Eisner-nominated series Lucifer and his critically acclaimed run on Vertigo’s flagship title, Hellblazer. He is also the author of the Felix Castor novels and the writer of the monthly DC Vertigo series The Unwritten. His work for Marvel Comics includes X-Men, X-Men Legacy, and Fantastic Four. His screenplay, Silent War, is currently in production.

Linda Carey, writing as A.J. Lake, is the author of the Darkest Age fantasy trilogy. She has also written for television, most notably serving as lead writer for the German animation series Meadowlands.

Louise Carey’s previous writing credits include Diary of a London Schoolgirl for the London Metropolitan archive website and the graphic novel Confessions of a Blabbermouth, co-written with Mike Carey. She is an active member of the Chicken Shed theatre company and has performed in their productions of Alice in Wonderland and Grimm Nights.
