What They're Saying

Critics Review

Praise for The House Sitter‘The House Sitter is a gripping destination thriller that will whisk you away to sultry Italy on a thrilling journey. Expect sleepless nights spent eagerly turning pages. Beautiful writing, a cast of deeply flawed characters, and a protagonist to root for.’ * Emily Freud *‘A beautifully written clever thriller that pulls you in with vivid Italian imagery and a plot that grips from the first page.’ * Sarah Clarke *‘A fast gripping read, set in a picturesque Italian hilltop village. Expertly plotted, Shah is back in familiar territory with themes of privilege and prejudice, but it’s the whodunnit pulse of this clever thriller that will keep you turning pages until the final delicious twist. The perfect summer thriller to devour poolside, with olives and a vino rosso …’ * Cate Ray *‘I devoured this in two sittings. A delicious mix of a beautiful, calm setting full of devastatingly bad characters.’ * Sophie Flynn *‘A dark and atmospheric novel which explores a collision of the rich and the vulnerable, set against the backdrop of beautiful Italy. A brilliant summer read!’ * L.V. Matthews *Praise for Mira V Shah‘Dark and unsettling with two intriguing main characters, an evocative setting, and a non-stop storyline, Her is so, so good. I loved it!’ * Andrea Mara *‘Gripping and emotionally astute - I enjoyed it very much.’ * Laura Marshall *
