About The Author
Miles Wilks
Miles Wilks has been a writer for the Carlton Football Club since 2001. His first article was on the 1970 Preliminary Final and he has since written feature articles in the official magazine of the club, Inside Carlton, and for the CFC website. Miles’ credits include feature articles on Wayne Harmes, Bernie Evans, Carlton’s greatest finals players and the 1983 Night Grand Final, but his greatest contribution to the Carlton story was his detailed book on the 1968 premiership team, Barassi’s Blues. His latest book, Champions of Carlton, was a more ambitious undertaking as it looks at the impact of a wide range of players dating from the 1930s to the 2000s.
