Miguel has brought his energy and passion to his book Miguel's Tapas. The serving of tapas is designed to encourage conversations and Miguel brings us authentic tapas for all times of the day from his native Spain. Miguel's dark good looks and energy have also made him a television favourite. In Boys' Weekend, on Channel 10, together with friends Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel and Adrian Richardson, they hit the road for one weekend of adventure after another for good times and great food.

Author Miguel Maestre shares his culinary heritage and describes his childhood memories of growing up in a large household that revolved around cooking and eating. Miguel began cooking when he was 21, when he moved to Scotland. His progression was quick, working his way up through the ranks at Indigo Yard in the heart of Edinburgh.
