About The Author
Michelle Boyd
Michelle Boyd is an internationally recognized fibre-arts writer and educator. She became intrigued by yarn at the age of 12 when she first picked up a crochet hook and a ball of acrylic. Though her first project wasn’t a success, her skills have significantly improved since then.
Boyd is a prolific spinner, knitter, weaver, and an occasional crocheter. She received her Master Spinner certifications from Olds College in 2007 and subsequently taught for the college’s program, as well as at guilds and conferences throughout North America. Her writing has appeared in publications such as PLY Magazine and Spin-Off, and on Digits & Threads. Her first book, Twist, was published in late 2024.
