Michael T. Myers

Dr. Michael T. Myers Jr., MD

Dr. Michael T. Myers Jr. served as the Chief of Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Practice Transformation for Summit Health New Jersey, a prominent medical group in the state. With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Myers is a recognized leader in medical group practice management, public health initiatives, and healthcare consulting. His career has included significant leadership roles at Partners HealthCare (now Mass General Brigham) in Boston, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Myers contributed his expertise as a COVID-19 scientific consultant to Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, where he was also appointed as an adjunct lecturer.

His first book, COVID-ology: A Field Guide, an educational textbook designed for college health science majors, was published in December 2022.

Dr. Myers earned his MD from Harvard, his BA from Johns Hopkins, and his MBA from Northeastern University. He completed his primary care residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
