About The Author
Michael Baughen
Michael Baughen has served in several churches since he was ordained in 1956, including as Rector of All Souls Langham Place in London. He was then Bishop of Chester for fourteen years, which involved nine years as a member of the House of Lords. Michael’s speaking ministry has taken him to many parts of the world and he has authored several books. He also composed the tune for ‘Lord of the Years’ for Timothy Dudley-Smith’s hymn of the same name. He remains active as an assistant Bishop, author and speaker in retirement.
