About The Author
Mel Rosenberg
Dr. Mel Rosenberg hosts the Children’s Literature Channel of the New Books Network, where he has interviewed over 150 published authors, editors, agents and publishers. His three animated stories for TED-Ed have been viewed by over 13 million people. In his previous career, Mel was Professor of Microbiology at Tel Aviv University. Mel is also a jazz musician and singer. Emily Saw a Door, his first children’s book, received Israel’s prestigious Dvora Omer Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature.
Orit Magia has written and illustrated several children’s books, all of which have received much praise from both critics and audiences. She is also an industrial designer and co-founder of Shulab, an international design studio that collaborates with leading design companies in Europe. Her works have been widely published and featured in various international exhibitions. Orit graduated from the prestigious BEZALEL ACADEMY OF ART AND DESIGN, the top design institute in Israel, and she applies her multiple talents to visual storytelling, industrial design, and graphic design.
