Maybe
MAYBE is a two-man cartooning team based out of Japan, both members reportedly born in 1984. They debuted in comics with indie publisher Okura Publishing in 2005 and gained recognition with Wani Magazine’s Comic Kairakuten. In 2006, they entered the mainstream with Akita Shoten. Starting in 2008, MAYBE designed characters and background art for video game producer RailSoft. They achieved their breakthrough with the hit series Dusk Maiden of Amnesia by SquareEnix, which inspired an animated TV series and radio dramas. Since then, MAYBE has worked with major publishers like Kodansha and SquareEnix, focusing on fantasy. Their current title, Tales of Wedding Rings, is published in the US.
