Martin Heidegger
Joan Stambaugh is Professor of Philosophy at Hunter College of the City University of New York. She has published extensively and is the author of The Real is Not the Rational; The Finitude of Being; The Other Nietzsche; and is the translator of Martin Heidegger’s Being and Time.
Dennis J. Schmidt is Professor of Philosophy, Comparative Literature, and German at The Pennsylvania State University at University Park. He is the author of On Germans and Other Greeks: Tragedy and Ethical Life and The Ubiquity of the Finite: Hegel, Heidegger, and the Entitlements of Philosophy.
