Critics Review
“A welcome addition to the burgeoning literature that strives to get young people interested in philosophy. Written with an engaging question-and-answer format and drawing on a huge range of philosophical sources, the book is especially notable and admirable for its inclusion of many non-Western thinkers.” –Peter Adamson, author
“Linsenmayer’s snappy writing makes difficult ideas accessible. This text illuminates an impressive number of ideas in a way that allows readers not only learn them but engage them critically.” –Lawrence Ware, associate director of Center for Africana Studies and teaching assistant professor at Oklahoma State University
“There has never been a more important time to expose children to the great ideas. It is never too soon. In a time when truth itself is being superficially discarded without reasoned arguments, Linsenmayer arms children with deeper understanding and a highly accessible survey of the historic sweep of philosophy.” –Drew Pinsky, MD
