About The Author
Mark Beeson
Mark Beeson is an adjunct professor at the University of Technology Sydney and Griffith University. He was previously professor of international politics at the University of Western Australia. He has also taught at Murdoch, Griffith, Queensland, York (UK) and Birmingham universities.
Kanishka Jayasuriya is a professor of politics and international studies at Murdoch University. He writes extensively on global political economy and the rise of the far right.
Sian Troath is a lecturer at the University of Wollongong, having previously worked at Australian National University, Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury and Flinders University. She researches on the politics of expertise and military technologies, and Australian foreign and defence policy.
