About The Author
Marieke Bigg
Dr. Marieke Bigg holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Cambridge. Her research explored the influence of biological models and biologists within public discussions surrounding biotechnology and reproductive medicine.
She is also a fiction writer, with her work often examining the confluence of art and the female body. In addition to her writing, Dr. Bigg facilitates writing workshops, delivers lectures, and engages in collaborative projects with scientists and artists to create exhibitions that envision new social realities. Currently, she is undertaking training to become a psychotherapist.
