Critics Review
Everyone’s favourite lesbian nun PI… Douaihy is as skilled as James Lee Burke at describing New Orleans… Not just a terrific tale of the Big Sleazy but a powerful portrait of a soul in torment * The Times *
Fierce, snappy prose, together with a fabulous flawed heroine, combine to make an unforgettable read * Daily Mail *
Douaihy’s poetic prose and incredible voice shine as we rejoin our indomitable sleuth, Sister Holiday… Every bit as grisly and profane as it is beautiful and sacred. Divine Ruin is fearlessly inspired. – Gillian Flynn
Douaihy weaves light into noir, poetry into breakneck plotting, and grace into grit… A journey that is both riveting and sacred – Ana Reyes, author of ‘The House in the Pines’
Lyrically written and terrifically plotted, the third book installment of this series is its best and most shocking yet * Criminal Element *
