About The Author
Linus O'Brien
Linus O’Brien is a multidisciplinary creative and the director of Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, a documentary celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Show and its creator, Richard O’Brien. The film, produced alongside Avner Shiloah, Adam Gibbs, and Garret Price of Margot Station, has been honored with three awards: The Art of Storytelling Award at the DocEdge Film Festival, The Audience Award at the GAZE Film Festival, and Best Documentary at the Riverbed Film Festival.
Linus’s love of storytelling was shaped early through a shared passion for cinema and science fiction with his father, Richard O’Brien. Before directing, he served as Head of Development at Network Entertainment, contributing to the Oscar-shortlisted feature Facing Ali, and later worked with acclaimed producer of ‘Capote’, Bill Vince as Director of District 319 in Vancouver. From music to film, Linus O’Brien’s work is united by a commitment to imaginative, boundary-pushing stories that resonate deeply with audiences.
He is represented by Aleksey Ageyev, partner at Zero Gravity Management.
