Alias the Saint

‘The Story of a Dead Man’ sees the Saint running an office overlooking the Strand and composing tongue-in-cheek letters of complaint to The Times, until Inspector Teal comes to investigate the mysterious Mr Vanney. In ‘The Impossible Crime’, a bored Saint helps Chief Inspector Teal with what appears to be unsolvable mystery; a man in a locked room who has been shot to death. And finally in ‘The National Debt’ the Saint is in South Wales when he stumbles across strange happenings at a remote inn.
