About The Author
Laure Adler
Laure Adler is a journalist, writer, and historian specializing in women’s studies and feminism during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She contributed to Dangerous Women: The Perils of Muses and Femmes Fatales (Flammarion, 2010) and has authored numerous essays and books, including Marguerite Duras: A Life (Phoenix, 2001), whose French edition was awarded the Prix Femina.
Clara Bouveresse is a photography historian with a PhD in art history.
