Kim Newman
Kim Newman is an award-winning writer, critic, journalist, and broadcaster living in London. He is a contributing editor to the UK film magazine Empire, where he writes the popular monthly segment, ‘The Cult of Kim Newman’. He also contributes to various publications, including Sight & Sound, The Dark Side, and The Guardian.
Newman is a frequent presence on radio and television and serves as the chief writer for the BBC TV series Mark Kermode’s Secrets of Cinema. His accolades include the Bram Stoker, International Horror Guild, Prix Ozone, British Fantasy, and British Science Fiction Awards, along with nominations for the Hugo, World Fantasy, and James Herbert Awards.
He has authored non-fiction books exploring popular culture, film, and television, such as Nightmare Movies (Bloomsbury), a comprehensive examination of the horror film industry.
