About The Author

Kevin Smith

A writer, film director, comedian, and podcast pioneer, Kevin Smith wrote and directed numerous films, including Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Tusk. He authored Silent Bob Speaks, *Shootin’ the Sht with Kevin Smith, and the New York Times bestsellers My Boring-Ass Life and Tough Shit.

Smith also plays Silent Bob to Jason Mewes’ Jay. The pair’s hands and feet prints are permanently ensconced amongst the stars in the forecourt of the legendary Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. His first film, Clerks, was added to the National Film Registry in the Library of Congress in 2019.
