Editor Bryan Thomas Schmidt is an author of novels and short fiction, and Hugo-nominated editor. He has edited Alan Dean Foster, Tracy Hickman, Frank Herbert, and was the first editor on Andy Weir’s The Martian. His anthologies include Infinite Stars, Predator: If it Bleeds, Shattered Shields (with Jennifer Brozek), Beyond the Sun, Raygun Chronicles, and Mission: Tomorrow. He lives in Kansas, USA.
A five-time winner of both the Hugo and Nebula Awards and Grandmaster of the Science Fiction Writers of America, Robert Silverberg is one of the most acclaimed living authors of fantasy and science fiction. Before this, however, Silverberg wrote more than one million words in other genres under fake names, including numerous crime novels and stories for pulp magazines such as Trapped, Guilty, and Double-Action Detective.
Jack Campbell is the pen name for John G. Hemry, whose books have been translated into fifteen languages and sold four million copies worldwide. He is a retired Naval officer and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. As Jack Campbell, he writes The Lost Fleet series of military science fiction novels.
