Katy Ashworth is a beloved presenter, performer, actor, and writer best known for her work on BBC’s CBeebies, where she brought joy to millions of children and families. With a background in musical theatre, comedy, and devised performance, Katy’s career spans television, theatre, and voiceover work, including roles in Justin’s House, I Can Cook, and numerous radio and audiobook productions. She is also a jazz and soul vocalist, a public speaker, and the founder of The Play Project, which delivers creative art and play workshops to support children’s mental health and well-being in schools and organisations.
Alongside her creative work, Katy is training as a play therapist, deepening her commitment to using play and creativity to nurture children’s emotional well-being.
