Love this book. Very informative, covers a lot of areas that I wanted to understand more, e.g no dig gardening, good pointers on design and opened my eyes to mulching for soil fertility.Great month by month section near the end telling me what to sow/plant when. Full of tips and encouragement.

I'm an experienced gardener and wondered if it was worth getting this book, but it certainly was. Kath Irvine provides wonderful advice for growing vegetables, both for newbies and those who think they know what they're doing. She's encouraging and sensible and the book is well laid out. I'm particularly impressed by the section on growing different types of vegetables. Good timing with spring planting underway - I'm going back to it again and again.
