About The Author
Kate Ruttle
Kate Ruttle is a SENCo and deputy head in a primary school in Suffolk. She is a Lead Practitioner for Inclusion in Suffolk and delivers training courses in the UK, as well as teacher training workshops internationally on a wide range of subjects. She has a post graduate qualification in Dyslexia and Literacy from Dyslexia Action and is an ‘approved teacher’ by the British Dyslexia Association. Kate is a well established literacy consultant, advising many educational and trade publishers, as well as being an experienced author and series editor. With a high profile in the educational press, Kate has been interviewed by, and quoted in, The Independent, The Telegraph and BBC News online. She has been invited to appear on BBC Breakfast TV as well as in Channel 4’s Dispatches to discuss literacy and inclusion.
