Dr Christopher Scanlon holds a PhD in Politics from Monash University and is currently Chair, Teaching and Learning in the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Commerce at La Trobe University. He has over 10 years experience as an editor and freelance writer. Between 1999-2009 he served as both a co-editor and the online editor of Arena Magazine. His work has been published in The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Courier-Mail, The Canberra Times, Crikey, Business Spectator, The Monthly, Overland and Arena Magazine.
