Karen Dybis
Karen Dybis is a reporter who has covered Detroit through a number of publications, including the Detroit News, and has been a freelance writer for many more, including TIME magazine, U.S. News & World Report and jewelry industry giant JCK. Her books include a history of the city’s potato chip companies (Better Made in Michigan), an in-depth look at a 1931 murder mystery (The Witch of Delray) and a study of drive-in movie palaces (The Ford-Wyoming Drive-In). She also wrote a travel guide to the city called Strange Detroit.
