About The Author
Justine Adams
Justine grew up in her mum’s beautiful bookshop in Gippsland, Victoria and spent her formative years amidst an endless supply of books to explore. Unsurprisingly, the children’s section became her haven. Right into adulthood, a beautiful picture book has never failed to soothe her soul! In her role as a children’s physiotherapist, Justine creates books with simple wording and engaging images to help her young patients understand and participate in their own healthcare experiences. Through this, and her experience raising two beautiful boys, she has learned that the best children’s storytellers of all are children. Their capacity for wonder, magic and invention immerses her in glorious narratives every day.
Laura Stitzel is an author, illustrator and animator from Melbourne. Her work is a combination of watercolour, ink and painting. She is the written and illustrated over 20 children’s books. As a background artist and animator in Australia and Canada, Laura has worked on animated television shows for PBS, Disney, Warner Bros, Netflix, ABC and more.
