About The Author
Julian Stockwin
Author Biography
Julian Stockwin’s lifelong fascination with the sea began in his early childhood, leading him to join the Royal Navy at the age of 15. He later served for eight years in the Royal Australian Navy, undertaking global assignments that included service in the Vietnam War.
Following his naval career, Julian pursued studies in Far Eastern Studies and psychology, subsequently working as an educational psychologist and academic researcher. After returning to the UK in 1990 and gaining experience in strategic merchant shipping, Julian embarked on his writing career six years later. He is now a successful novelist, widely recognized for his acclaimed Thomas Kydd series.
Julian Stockwin currently resides in Devon with his wife, Kathy.
